Ένα κομμάτι με πολλά νοήματα από τον Serge Bowl
Το “jimmy” δεν είναι ένα απλό κομμάτι. Ούτε και ο Serge. Πριν κάποιους μήνες τον γνωρίσαμε μέσω του Rapnroll Newcomer Contest – Group Edition, όπου συμμετείχε σαν Special Act. Στην συνέντευξη που μας παραχώρησε τότε [https://www.rapnroll.gr/1610187743096/serge_bowl_interview/] , μας “ξηγήθηκε” για πολλά θέματα, όπως τον ρατσισμό, την εισχώρηση της hip hop κουλτούρας στα fashion trends και πως πια η βιομηχανία αυτή στηρίζετε σε αυτή την κουλτούρα. Το παρακάτω κείμενο εξηγεί τι εστί “jimmy”. Την παραγωγή υπογράφει ο ίδιος ο Serge μαζί με τον Master cee. Το κομμάτι ηχογραφήθηκε και μιξαρίστηκε στο Brake Home Studio, ενώ το master του έγινε στο sweet spot studio’s. Το κλιπ γυρίστηκε, σκηνοθετήθηκε και edit-αρίστηκε από τον Stefanos milionis/viewerside.
“Jimmy is an imaginary character that represent that hypocritic friend that is always ready to sell out he’s friends or others for he’s personal interest. This track also addresses indirectly the blackface racist situation by some brands like gucci, H&M, prada etc insulting the black people and flyod mayweathers selfish and arrogant decision to continue supporting this brands despite the decision by the black community to boycott these brands to send them a strong message. This track despite the flamboyant intro of the first verse is aim at raising awareness to certain negative behaviour that has be normalised in the society today especially the hip hop community. “
